Singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight finish Travis Kelce introduced their engagement on social media on Tuesday (August 26, 2025).
In a joint Instagram put up, the couple wrote: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” together with pictures displaying Kelce proposing to Swift.
The engagement has been welcomed broadly on social media, with about 5 million likes on their Instagram put up in about 40 minutes. The NFL additionally supplied congratulations.
Swift and Kelce had been relationship for 2 years. Though they began relationship in 2023 after the singer carried out at Arrowhead Stadium — house of Kelce’s Chiefs — the three-time Super Bowl winner had expressed curiosity in Swift as early as 2016.
