The demonstration, stretching from College Street to Esplanade, forms part of a nationwide political program designed to counter opposition protests against SIR. Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya are scheduled to participate in the march alongside senior leadership.

Beyond the capital demonstration, the broader campaign schedule extends across multiple districts. According to BJP state vice-president Prabal Raha, the mobilization will move to Howrah and Siliguri on November 3, Krishnanagar on November 4, and Durgapur on November 5. Party organizers have outlined plans to stage marches across 800 locations, anticipating a turnout of at least 10,000 participants per event while aiming to galvanize nationalist supporters nationwide.

During his visit, Nabin is scheduled to hold strategy discussions with state leaders, including central observer Sunil Bansal, focusing on preparations for the upcoming municipal corporation elections in Kolkata and Howrah. Sources indicate that the party may formally announce its candidates following Kali Puja.

The political campaign is structured in multiple phases, with the second phase slated to commence on November 11 following the conclusion of Kali Puja and Diwali festivities. Nabin previously visited the state in late September for a two-day series of meetings with state functionaries, and is expected to return to Delhi on the night of November 2 or the following morning.
